Just Cause 3 in Development for Next-Gen

Avalanche Studios working on Just Cause 3 for next gen consoles? Our thoughts:

According to the Linkedin profile of Christofer Sundberg, the boss of Avalanche Studios, a "Unannounced Sandbox Action game is currently in development by Avalanche Studios New York studio. This is a "new installment in a very well-known game series" and "is scheduled for completion in June of 2015 for next-generation console platforms." This game will also be published by Square Enix just like the last iteration. This project has been in the works since Aug 2011 to present day.

Now this may sound like a long ways away, but giving the fact that Just Cause 2 was in development for almost five years, this seems to fit in with the current time line for Just Cause 3. Also considering that the company will be working with new and unfamiliar hardware, and there is also a chance of multi player, so this title will take some time to complete. But nonetheless, this is very good news to any fans of Rico Rodriquez. I can only imagine that Avalanche Studios tells itself daily, "It's a tough job... but someone's gotta do it."
