Galaxy S IV Announcement

The mobile giant known as Samsung Electronics is notorious for unveiling their new tech before actually hosting an unveiling event.  Well same goes for what is recently considered their newest flagship mobile device, the Samsung Galaxy S IV.

Leaks and Rumors will be flooding the forums and comments section of each Android loving site, guaranteed!  2013 is quickly becoming the year for major differences within the mobile market.  Major differences can be expected with the size of screens, the resolution, clarity, and touch interface.  Not to mention, CPU's will inevitably become faster and more reliable.  The one thing that I can't seem to get over, how Samsung Electronics can consider themselves a $175billion company and not keep a secret.  It is now 7 consecutive years that we've seen a "leak" prior to the Announcement Event.

SamMobile being one of several sites that have had information regarding the March 15th, Galaxy S IV unveiling.  Why the 15th of march? The answer is simple, nobody really knows.  I believe that it is earlier than the May of 2012 announcement of the Galaxy S III.

Sony's Xperia Tablet Z

Having covered the all new entirely Waterproof design carried by Sony's recently announced Xperia Z Smartphone, it wont be anything but a delight to hear about the most recent slue of rumors.  It is rumored that Sony is splashing back into the high end mobile market while trying to compete with Apple Inc.  Not only are they competing with them, but they seem to be replicating some of their moves.  Information has been leaked that Sony will be launching an Xperia Tablet Z.  Sound familiar?

The new Tablet will carry similar specs as the smartphone but it is rumored to have a 10.1 inch corner to corner chassis.  As we know from the Xperia Z smartphone, it will be powered by the same quad-quore 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdrogon CPU.  Other features include 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB storage, and the wonderful dustproof and waterproof additions.

Rumor has it, that the line-up will hit store shelves in Japan in as early as next week.  Unclear on the price for this puppy or even a clear look at a picture makes me a bit skeptical.  The picture above is of the Xperia Tablet S.

More on this story as crucial details are learned.

As a Sony fan-boy, I am happy to say that they are at it again!  This year at CES, they have revealed a few of their future plans.  Explaining that they are known for their high end quality at reasonable price reputation.  All products stamped with the Sony name will be represented with that same idea in mind.  They went on to announce their new line of Smartphones, the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.

The Xperia Z looks like a wonderful piece of tech.  When you get it into your hands, it may be a different story. A tempered glass shined to perfection, catches the eye of even those die hard Apple guys.  Running Jellybean 4.1 and allowing for an upgrade upon launch, provides buyers with the assurance of a stable OS.

One reason for so many avid Sony consumers is their experience and knowledge in manufacturing cameras.  They have equipped the Z with a 13MP primary and a 2.2MP secondary cameras.  Your primary wielding an LED flash and Auto-focus, with an output of 4128 X 3096 pixels.  Both the iPhone 5 and Samsung's Galaxy S3 do not hold up to the Z.   All the more reason to invest into the Sony ecosystem upon the release.

Although Sony is behind a few steps with their high end market goals, with the number of ways that they have to get into the homes of consumers, playing catch up won't be such a daunting task.  It doesn't seem to out of reach due to the Xperia Z's best feature: The phone is waterproof!  It can be fully submerged in as deep as 3 feet of water without sustaining damage.  Again, the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S3 do not hold up against that sort of thing.

Sony Xperia Z: Release date Although, Sony has only given a rough release date of Q1 2013, multiple online retailers have published an exact expected date for the Xperia Z.  Many companies worldwide of published specific dates for their expected release of the phone.  Of course, all are subject to change.

Sony Xperia Z: Price

Again, it is still a bit early to tell but as you know the specs don't lie.  Fully understanding how they add up and how useful each feature is to the average consumer but keeping in mind what Sony has put into the Xperia Z, I estimate a price tag of $725.

Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Tabletop

By Rich Hodges - CEO of TheTechFixation.com and the TechFixation's Podcast - A Podcast Driven By Consumers, For Consumers!

Lenovo at CES '13
Project: IdeaCentre Horizon
Debut: Projected for Fall of '13
Specs:
      OS: Linux
      Screen Size: 27in
      Resolution: 1080p

CES is an exciting time of year for a number of reasons, and Lenovo isn't holding back with this Debut.  Running on a Linux OS, this table top PC is stealing the spotlight without much effort at all!  It's beauty is something to be desired but nothing compared to the clarity and functionality.

It sets as a coffee table would, while also having a tilt capability.  It has full PC functionality, paired with this particular OS allows for a "muli-touch" feature.  A large enough screen can also help you with your Facebook party committee and your daughter to edit her photo's all in one setting.  Knowing what can be utilized, shows exactly how excited that we all should be.

Along with Lenovo, 3M is also featuring their iteration of a tabletop PC.  Earlier this year that had released an 84in model that apparently sold well enough to spark the interests of a smaller version.  The smaller version was also rumored to market for $6500, giving consumers an idea on what they need to bring to the table!
