Microsoft will be letting players have free access to Xbox Live Gold services such as multiplayer gaming during the second weekend of March.
The free weekend will run from 12.00 GMT on Friday March 8 until 23:59 GMT on Sunday March 10.
The selected multiplayer events planned included Halo 4, Borderlands 2, Tomb Raider, FIFA Ultimate Team, Forza Horizon, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed 3.
On the Friday, from 12.00-17.00 GMT, Rockstar fans will be able to challenge developers in multiplayer matches on GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption and Midnight Club LA.
