Twitch introduces Twitch Turbo

Twitch.tv, the largest live video platform and community for gamers, announced Feb. 4 a new paid feature for their website - Twitch Turbo.
With the tagline "watch games, not ads," Twitch Turbo allows users to pay $9 a month in order to gain special features for the streams that they watch. Those features include no ads while watching streams, a badge next to your name, custom emoticons, more chat colors and priority customer support.
While these features may seem a little 'meh' for the price point of $9, Twitch is emphasizing that this is only the start of all the new features.
"This is just the beginning of what we hope to offer through Twitch Turbo," Jared Rea, Twitch's community manager wrote in the official blog post, "and we’re looking forward to seeing exactly what sort of benefits and enhancements the community would like to see, from viewers to broadcasters and beyond."
