You will notice that there are 6 HDMI ports in the back, 2 of which are capable of 4K video. The other 4 HDMI ports deliver standard 1080p content. The only drawback to this Redray player is that it only plays proprietary files that come directly from RED. These RED files offer 4K and 7.1-channel 24-bit 48KHz LPCM audio at a mere 2.5MB per second. This format would allow for the storage of up to 100 hours of video on the 1TB hard drive.
