Babble Will Join All of Google's Chat Services

Whether you use Google Hangout or Google chat, most users on the net are switching to Google for their communication needs. The main problem is that Google Hangout, Google Talk, Google Voice, Google Chat, GmailChat, and Google+ cannot communicate with each other...until now.

Google is apparently looking to bring together all of its communication services under one roof. The platform will be dubbed “Babble”, and it will solve the problem of too many chat services.

According to Geek dot com, Google is building "Babble" from scratch and will combine all of these services into a closed-communication platform. With Babble, you will be able to chat with anyone on your Google contacts list, and all of the signature features from each individual chat service will be available in one chat box. You can have a hangout, share pictures, and send e-mails from one service. It's time to start updating your contact lists.

This new system could be what Google needs to compete with the likes of iMessage from Apple, Blackberry Messenger, and Facebook Messenger. Although this would greatly improve user experience and add a refreshing sense of connectivity to everything this program is long overdo and some users may have jumped ship with reckless abandon without learning about this.

The Google I/O conference is in May and should be the event where "Babble" is unveiled. The service will be available for all PC users, and don't be surprised when "Babble" releases on Android devices as well as Chrome OS devices. There is no release date for this service yet, but hopefully everything will be clarified at I/O.

Ouya Will Be Sold at GameStop, Best Buy, & Amazon for $99

The OUYA android powered gaming console made its mark on kickstarter and for those who chipped in, they will be rewarded with a console of their very own complete with game pad for their support.

As for the rest of us, starting in June everyone will be able to purchase their own Ouya at one of a few major retailers for just $99. Best Buy, Target, and GameStop are the locations it will be available for in store pickup, or if you’re the homebody type you can grab one from Amazon or OUYA.tv for the same price.

The $99 price tag will get you the console plus one controller, but the beauty of a console so small like the OUYA is that it’s portable, and you can take it anywhere, to play with friends. That being said you’ll need an extra game pad which you can pick up for $49.99. If you want to get in the pre-orders you can do so starting today. The Kickstarter backers will start to receive their consoles in March, while the pre-orders will come in April and the retailers will have the mini android wonder cubes fully stocked in June.

Humble Indie Bundle 7 Announced

Fresh on the heels of Humble Bundle's controversial THQ bundle, they've released a new bundle that includes 6 games, and a movie.
The movie, redeemable through Steam, as are all the other games, is Indie Game: The Movie, the award winning documentary which explains the independent game market while profiling some of it's biggest stars.
All other games are, in true Humble Bundle fashion, available for Mac and Linux as well, with games such as Shank 2 and Legends of Grimrock making their debut on those operating systems.
The bundle will be available to purchase for two weeks, and has, in it's first day, already raised over half a million dollars. Check it out here.
