New Call of Duty Out This Year...By NeverSoft

It's no surprise that a new Call of Duty game is releasing this year. The shocker is that NeverSoft Entertainment, the makers of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Guitar Hero series, are developing the war game.

According to VGLeaks the upcoming Call of Duty game, once helmed solely by Sledgehammer Games and considered to be an "action-adventure title", will be released on 11-11-13. Activision, who owns the Call of Duty series, has a great history with NeverSoft and if you doubt this tidbit of news here's the golden ticket.

OnlySP is hosting a poster (that is included in this article) that has now been called "fake," but the reality is; NeverSoft is making a Call of Duty game with Sledgehammer staff attached. The photos below also show a Linkedin profile of a NeverSoft member working on the title.

What do you think about this news? Do you believe NeverSoft can attack this type of gritty action or will they just put everyone on skateboards?

  1. This is very interesting. I wonder if Infinity Ward and Treyarch are moving onto other projects, possibly next gen. IW might be having another franchise it created taken from them again...

  3. I hope they can handle it. Moving to treyarch was a good move for them since my favorite Call of Duty games are the Black Ops Series. Just sayin'
