'Steam Box' to be unveiled soon

Rumors have been circulating for a  long time about a gaming console to come from gaming's giant Valve, and now the rumors have been confirmed.
The 'Steam Box,' the unofficial title, will be announced at the Consumers Electronic Show in Las Vegas, which runs from January 8 to January 11. The company Xi3 has reported that they have received an investment from Valve and is developing the hardware which will ultimately run the Valve software, most likely a more specialized version of Valve's already released 'Big Picture' mode for Steam.
The console will be housed in a chassis similar to that pictured above, which is about the size of a grapefruit and will be able to fit in the palm of your hand. More information will be revealed with the opening of the Consumers Electronic Show.
