The website VG247.com today reported new rumors circulating Sony's next generation gaming console, according to anonymous sources.
The Playstation 4, or 'Orbis' as sources have been calling it, will be announced prior to E3 2013. It will also be "very affordable" according to the article, with Sony reportedly trying to lower the cost in contrast to the expensive Playstation 3, which sold the 20 GB model for $499, and the 60 GB model for $599 in 2006.
The system also will be based on AMD's 10 APU series. Other features include BluRay capability, background downloads, and using the PS button, users will be able to "travel 'anywhere' on the system."
Nintendo's next generation gaming console, the Wii U, releases on November 18 in North America. The next XBox has yet to have any significant details leaked on it.
