Epic announced Unreal 4 last year and we have only seen glimpses into its technological power. With next-gen on everyone's mind its no wonder that companies like Crytek or CDProjekt are inventing their own video game engines.
Below are extremely detailed screenshots taken from a tech demo called "Helmet." These visuals just could not exist just a few years ago with the machines of the time.
Not much info to go on with these so enjoy them until we learn more.
